I is for Izzy

Izzy is my parents' two-year-old border collie and she's gorgeous...
On her first day with our family
Enjoying her first walk
At four months old
At six months old
Playing in the snow, Feb 2012
Crunching in autumn leaves, Sept 2012
Playing in the flood waters, March 2013
In the 'spring' snow, March 2013
I would love a dog of my own, but seeing as me and Hubby are out of the house for approx. nine hours a day, I just can't do it. It's not fair. Until I do get a dog of my own, Izzy will have to do :)

    1. You can get a dog when you get your own place, Emma, or when you have children, like I plan to :) Dogs are such great company and there's loads of evidence to support the fact that a pet improves your mental and physical well-being.

    1. Thanks, Rowena. I grew up with both cats and dogs (wait for K) so I'd love both when I get the chance :)

  4. I prefer cats, but nice pictures. My husband had a collie as a kid.

  5. What a cutie-pie! I love dogs. She looks like a sweetie. Does she like to catch the ball? Mine definitely is all about the ball ball ball! :)

    1. She does like to catch the ball, but she's not good at bringing it back - she brings it so far then as you go to grab it, she picks it up and runs off with it again. She's definitely got a mischievous streak :)

  7. She's a cutie. I think you should let me dress her up in a studded leather jacket and some child-size Converse. x

    1. Arrwww she'd look so cute in that outfit - I'd let you dress her up but I think she might have something else to say on the matter, lol.
